Brontë at Prospect Hill is located in Howick, Auckland City, in the North Island of New Zealand
Howick is one of the lovely Eastern Bays of Auckland and the nearest to the airport. It has a rich history and a charming but vibrant village atmosphere, with an eclectic mix of specialty shopping, galleries, cafes and restaurants and a choice of local beaches. Both the airport ( 20 minutes ) and the CBD ( 20 minutes off-peak ) are easily assessible. A fast ferry service will transport you rapidly to and from the CBD and other city areas - also providing a great way to enjoy our city's beautiful harbour.
One of New Zealand's largest premier shopping precincts, Botany ( pictured top right ) is a six minute drive.
Howick has easy access to the motorway system to provide you with stress free arrival into, or departure from our city. Forget inner city congestion when arriving or leaving - and use the time saved to enjoy the real New Zealand.
We are also at the start of the official scenic route south - the Pohutakawa Coast section of the Pacific Coast Highway - which provides a scenic gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula, Rotorua,Taupo and beyond. We strongly recommend that if you are leaving and then returning to Auckland that you use the Pacific Coast highway in at least one direction. And, as befits Howick's seaside location, we are also the gateway to the Gulf Islands, including Waiheke, providing both passenger and Auckland's only regular vehicular ferry services

Whenever possible we provide complimentary early checkin / late checkout.
If guest bookings prevent us from providing this service, you are welcome to relax in our homestead lounge until your suite is ready or you wish to depart for the airport ( up to 5.00 pm on day of departure )
